Haris Wong is a Hong Kong video designer, spatial audio designer and engineer, and motion tracking engineer. He studied Media Scenography at HKAPA, and works mainly in theatre, concert, and virtual production.
His video design is rooted in concert work: building imagined worlds in Blender and Unreal Engine that support the song. He also works as an interactive designer — with TouchDesigner and Python he often folds music-reactive systems or camera tracking into the live image.
On the audio side he works with surround and spatial systems including L-Acoustics L-ISA and Holophonix, using spatial content to give the audience an immersive listening experience.
Software on the remote is what I use day to day: Blender, Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner, disguise, Resolume, Dante, L-Acoustics, and AutoCAD. I also work in Python, Holophonix, QLab, Adobe, and motion-tracking systems.
